At the age of forty, Scottish-born Simon McCalister is not only an award winning director in the short and independent film circuit, but also serves as Professor of Film and Video Studies at Remington University. With a strange sense of humor and wit about him, students can't help but enjoy his classes and see him not only as their professor, but also as a passionate peer.
Simon married his brilliant former student and the love of his life, Miss Caitlin Aislyn Aston, on Nov 11, 2011, following their engagement on May 13, 2011. They are anxiously and ecstatically awaiting the birth of their first child in January 2012. Simon knows now that he is not only the luckiest man in the universe, but the happiest, as well.
